Susan earned her degree in Recreation and Parks Management with a Natural Resource Conservation emphasis. With over 30 years of environmental education and program planning experience, Susan was one of the first Creek Week Steering Committee members in 2014 and is now an independent contractor for FCWD providing outreach and education to Pueblo County. She has held positions at nature centers, zoos, and parks, and formally taught in private and public schools. She has developed programming on recycling, sustainability, aquaponic gardening and pollution prevention. Susan likes to hike along waterways, birdwatch and learn the natural and cultural history of the West.
